Vanilla Citrus Cake + Triple Berry Filling

On August 7th I was able to be a part of my sister’s wedding in such a special way! This wedding a small ceremony with just immediate family and a couple of close friends. Then next year we are planning on the big party that we’ve all been anticipating!

This cake was a lemon berry cake with an almond vanilla buttercream frosting. Most of the time the flavor of the wedding cake is based on favorite flavors of the bride/groom or whatever will be best for the guest. This cake was different, on Rachel and Russell got lemon berry slushees on their first date. It was a flavor that was able to perfectly tie their relationship together, from the very beginning to their new beginning!

So cheers to Mr. and Mrs. Williams and you’re new beginning! I’m so thankful I got to add a special treat to your big day and can not wait to add an even bigger treat next year!
